January 14th is a day etched deeply into our hearts. It marks the birth of a remarkable woman—my sister, Terry Ann Chippy—who brought light, love, and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Today, as we reflect on what would have been her 42nd birthday, we celebrate the incredible person she was and the legacy she left behind.


Terry Ann’s smile was her hallmark—a radiant expression that brightened the darkest days. With a gap in her teeth that we fondly called her “brand name smile,” she carried an air of authenticity and joy that made her presence unforgettable. She didn’t just smile; she shared her light generously, uplifting others with her encouraging words and warm heart.


Family was everything to Terry Ann. She adored her son, pouring her boundless love into him and ensuring he always felt cherished. She also shared a deep, unbreakable bond with her mom, who was one of her greatest sources of strength and inspiration. Together, they built a foundation of love that continues to sustain us even in her absence.


Terry Ann had a passion for life and for giving back to others. She found joy in helping those in need, whether through charity runs or small acts of kindness. Her generosity was limitless, and her heart was as big as her smile. She was a woman of action, always looking for ways to make the world a better place.

Terry Ann, you are more than a memory. You are a light that continues to guide us, a source of strength when we need it most. You taught us to smile, to love deeply, and to give without expectation.
