Where do I begin?

Do I let my thoughts spill freely,

Or must they make sense?

Ideas flood my mind—

A genius in her head.


But how does she make them real?

How does she turn chaos into clarity?

Is she dreaming, or simply sleeping?

No upward mobility,

Stuck in visibility—

Am I putting on a show for validity?


The ego speaks.

It shows.

But how do I use it?


Use it. Use it.

Be humble enough to accept it.

Be human enough to respect it.


Use it. Use it.

The words echo, relentless, on repeat.


My jumbled thoughts. My dreams.

Make them see what you’ve always seen.


All along,

An empress.

Blessed. Bold. Strong.
