Whether it was a relationship that ended, a job you lost, a friend who walked away, or a missed opportunity—what if it wasn’t rejection, but redirection?


Sometimes, when God closes a door, it’s not punishment—it’s positioning.




Why People, Places & Things Fall Away


Everything in your life has an assignment. And when that assignment is complete, the connection will shift.


It may hurt. It may feel like betrayal. But trust this: anything or anyone removed from your life is not essential to the next chapter. God doesn’t subtract without intention. If something has fallen away, it’s because it can no longer go where you’re growing.


Disconnections aren’t always loud. Sometimes they’re slow fades. Sometimes they’re forced exits. But they all have one thing in common—they create space for clarity.


Redirection Is a Gift in Disguise

What you need:


• A pen


• A journal or a blank sheet of paper


• A quiet space


• A candle (optional)


Step 1: Reflect


Write down one person, opportunity, or situation you’ve been grieving or struggling to let go of.


Step 2: Ask Yourself Honestly:


• What did this connection teach me?


• In what ways was it limiting me?


• How have I grown since it ended?


• What is life making room for now?


Step 3: Release


Write a statement like:


“I release what no longer serves me. I trust that this disconnection is redirection. I am open to what’s next.”


Step 4: Burn or Fold & Store


If safe, burn the paper as a symbol of release. Or fold and place it in a “growth box” as a declaration that you’re moving forward.


Step 5: Visualize the Next Chapter


Close your eyes and picture your life lighter, freer, and aligned with your true purpose. Say thank you—even for what didn’t work out.
