Sometimes people come into your life offering “help,” but it’s really a disguised power play. You’ll hear things like:

“If I were you, I wouldn’t do that…”


“You need to take my advice because I’ve been there…”


But ask yourself—if the advice is pulling you out of alignment with your peace, your passion, your joy… then who exactly is it helping?


When someone gives from their heart, there is no string attached. But when someone gives and then expects the right to navigate your journey, that’s not support—that’s control.


You Don’t Owe Anyone Access to Your Destiny


Let’s be clear: gratitude doesn’t mean submission. Someone helping you in a moment of need doesn’t give them authority over your life’s direction. Don’t let guilt confuse your discernment. You’re allowed to say, “Thank you, but no.”


Don’t let anyone project their fears, limitations, or outdated ways of thinking onto your big, bold dream. Your calling is yours. Your business is yours. Your rhythm, your style, your process—it’s yours for a reason.
