Why Your Voice Matters: Speaking Power Into Your Purpose

Why Your Voice Matters: Speaking Power Into Your Purpose

By Colleeno Chippy

“Life and death are in the power of the tongue.”

— Proverbs 18:21

If you’ve been reading my journey, you already know I believe in the power of words. Some messages are worth repeating because growth requires reminders. And this is one we must not forget:

Your voice holds weight.

Your voice shapes reality.

Your voice speaks life into your purpose.

God didn’t give you a voice just to breathe — He gave you a voice to build, declare, affirm, confront, uplift, and shift the atmosphere around you.

You Were Created With Power in Your Mouth

When God formed the world, He spoke it into existence.

And you were made in His image.

Your words have creative power — whether you realize it or not.

Every time you say:

“I can’t”

“I’m stuck”

“Nothing ever works out for me”

…your spirit obeys.

Your life adjusts to match your language.

But when you boldly declare:

“I am growing”

“I deserve good things”

“God is opening doors for me”

…heaven responds to your faith.

Your Story is Not Small

There is someone who needs the testimony you’ve been hiding.

There is someone who will heal because you spoke up.

There is someone waiting on a message God placed in your heart.

As it says in Revelation 12:11 —

“We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.”

Your voice is a spiritual weapon.

Use it boldly.

When You Speak Over Yourself, You Grow

Every declaration is a seed.

Speak like a woman who knows she is becoming her.

Speak like someone who trusts God’s plan for her life.

Tell the mountain who your God is.

Tell the storm that peace still stands.

Tell your future you’re on your way.

From Silence to Strength

Not everyone will clap for your voice.

Some may try to dismiss it.

Others may misunderstand it.

But your validation comes from God — not from people.

You don’t need an audience to speak the truth.

You just need courage to open your mouth.

Scripture Reminder

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”

— Psalm 107:2

You are redeemed.

So speak like it.

Live like it.

Become like it.
