There is a version of life we all imagine.


A way we thought things would go. A path that made sense. A plan that felt certain, and for a while, it feels clear.


Structured. Predictable. Aligned with what we expected.


Until it isn’t.


Because sometimes, life shifts in ways we didn’t plan for.


Things change. Directions adjust. Doors that we thought would stay open suddenly closed.


In those moments, it’s easy to question everything.


To wonder if something went wrong. To feel like you’ve lost your way.

To try and make sense of what no longer fits the picture you once held.


But what if the shift is not a mistake?


What if it is movement?


Movement toward something you couldn’t see before.

Movement away from something that was no longer aligned.

Movement into a version of your life that requires a different path.


That perspective is not always easy to hold.


Because change can feel uncomfortable.

Because trusting God when the plan changes means releasing control.


Releasing the need to understand everything immediately.

Releasing the expectation that life must follow your timeline.

Releasing the attachment to how you thought things would unfold.


And that can feel difficult.


Because letting go of what you planned can feel like losing something.


But sometimes, what you are releasing is not loss—it is limitation.


Limitation of what you thought was possible.

Limitation of what you believed your life could be.

Limitation of a path that may have been too small for what is ahead.


That is why faith requires perspective. Not just seeing what is happening—

but trusting what it is leading toward.


Even when you cannot fully see it yet.


There is something powerful about surrender.


Not in a passive way, but in a trusting way.


A willingness to move forward without needing to control every detail.

A decision to believe that even in uncertainty, you are being guided.


And that guidance does not always look like what you expected.


But it often leads where you need to be.


So if you find yourself in a place where things have shifted…


Where the plan looks different…Where the path feels unfamiliar…


Pause. Breathe. And remind yourself— You are not lost.


You are being led.


Not away from your purpose— but deeper into it.
